Guidelines for Paper & Poster Presentation

---

· Abstract must be in English with 250 words only.

· Name of the presenting author to be followed by name of the co-authors (maximum of 5 co-authors) and lastly name of the institution.

· Please do not include references, acknowledgements, graphics, tables or figures in your abstract body.

· The body of the abstract should be structured as follows:

· Aims and objectives

· Methods and Materials

· Results

· Conclusion

· Abstract submission by email or online submission only.

· E-mail should be sent under the subject “Abstract for Oral Paper”.

· Authors of accepted papers ONLY will be required to send the PowerPoint presentation to ambalairia@gmail.com.

· All presentation should be prepared on Microsoft 2013 PowerPoint or the later version 

· A maximum of 1 poster per presenting author will be accepted for submission.

· All selected presenters will get a participation certificate.

· There should not be any conflicts of interest. Sending the power point slides, means consent is given for uploading the material for learning purposes at IRIA Ambala website.

· Name of the presenting author alone should be mentioned in the presentation. The College name / Co-author name should not be mentioned in the PowerPoint for the purpose of neutral evaluation; if mentioned, those presentations will be disqualified.

· Paper presentations will be power point presentations of 5 minutes duration(3minutes for Presentation+ 2 Minutes for Question Session). Please adhere to the timings as marks may be deducted for overshooting your time.

· Patient confidentiality should be protected. No names, hospital numbers or any other identity should appear in the presentation.

· Presentation can be structured in the same format as the abstract submission.

• Judges will be judging your presentation based on: Concept, Aims      and objectives, Methodology, Discussion, Conclusion (Is it answering the questions raised in aims and objectives) and oral presentation (PowerPoint quality, clarity of presentation, adherence to time). 
• Top 3 will get merit certificate. Decision of judges will be final.

· The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

· Papers must be original and must not be or have been published or presented at any other prior meetings.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:

· Review of abstract will take 2 to 3 days from the abstract submission deadline. All abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific committee. The committee reserves the right to select the abstract and assign the sessions and final format of presentation. The decision of committee is final. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by email.

· The abstract will be accepted only if the presenting author is registered for the conference. 

· Theme: Scientific Research / Pictorial Review / Case series / Case report

· Poster should include original images and not copied from the articles / web.

· A maximum of 1 poster per presenting author will be accepted for submission.

· A poster that has been previously published / presented cannot be submitted.

· Last date of e-poster submission is 30 March 2025 , 10pm

· Presenting author can be radiology residents or consultants.

· Posters shall be accepted from registered delegates only. Registration for the CME is mandatory before poster submission

· No changes in authorship or contents shall be allowed after submission.

· All posters will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee and will be judged on scientific / clinical value, originality of the work, and image quality. The decision on the acceptance / rejection of the e-poster by the scientific committee is final. No review or revision will be entertained.

· Patient confidentiality should be protected. No names, hospital numbers, or any other identifying information should appear in the presentation.

· E-mail should be sent under the subject “Abstract for Oral Paper”.

· Powerpoint presentations / JPEG image in good quality should be submitted by emailing to ambalairia@gmail.com in .pptx format (microsoft 2013 powerpoint or a later version). No abstracts are to be submitted for e-posters

· All presentations will be scrutinised and only the accepted e-posters will be displayed during the conference and given certificates. Three best posters shall be selected for awards.

· Posters should not be more than 10 slides / 20 clicks and upto 10 MB in size

· Posters should include sections on

o Title, author and hospital/clinic details

o Objectives

o Materials and methods

o Observations / Cases

o Conclusion

•  Last date of abstract submission is 25th March 2025 , 10pm
• Presenters of selected abstracts will be required to send their final ppt by 30th March 2025, 10 pm
•  Last date of E-Poster submission is 30th March 2025 , 10pm
